Hi! I am in charge of Marketing and Promotions at traineo and I feel very fortunate to be a part of a team that is dedicated to helping a large number of people reach their health and fitness goals. Health and fitness has always played a large part of my life. Growing up, I played tennis, basketball, and ran. In college, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to represent my college in two disciplines - track/cross country as well as basketball. Currently I am still running competitively for a local track club and enjoying every minute of it. I am always interested in meeting new people so feel free to send me a message. I am also continually looking for new ways to promote traineo and would love to hear from you if you have specific suggestions. Have a great day.

Not too bad -- a bit windy, though. I ran from Harvard Yard (I'm a freshman proctor...) to the river, down to the Mass Ave bridge and back--about 5.8 miles... Enjoy it before the rain comes...

Jennifer, that's awesome that you run competitively. I'd like to do that eventually as well. I've been running off and on for the past 2 years. I enjoy it because it gives me time to think and reflect and it's a great form of cardio. I also have asthma and my lungs feel particularly strong while I'm running.

I really like Nike . It really makes you feel like your runs are counting for something since each one is logged and you can view the details of each workout. It's interesting to know pace, distance, calories burned, etc, and I take it with me on every run.

:)

Jennifer, I recently ran in the cold as well with some pretty intense winds. I definitely agree with you about just doing it rather than giving yourself time to come up with reasons not to. It was 30ºF here just the other day and I decided to run it in shorts because my jogging pants were in the wash.

Michigan weather is weird. Just a few days ago it was 75ºF and sunny and now we're back to dreary, cold, rainy, snowy days. Oh well, I'm off for a run now. Just wanted to say HI. :)

Hey guys - pretty happy today that I braved the cold weather and did my run outside. I think I was more scared to get out there (10-degrees F, -19-degrees F with windchill). It actually wasn't all that bad - enjoyed it even.

Some advice: Sometimes we play games with ourselves and make things seem much more difficult than they actually are. Instead, we should just get out and do it...no excuses. Be tough!

hahaha, thanks Jennifer! The plate idea is a good one. I was actually the one who recommended the book "Mindless Eating" in the forums! It's a great read, you'll enjoy it : D

Thanks for the welcome, I've been reading the forums and I think I like this site.
With such a low anerobic threshold, I don't know what my Min. HRM would be.

Thanks again.
